Are there any age requirements?

Yes. You must be over 13 years of age to use our website or chatrooms. Anyone under the age of 13 will be removed.

Another chatter is being rude to me in chat. What do I do?

DigiChat has an ignore feature that allows you to stop receiving messages from specific users on the chat. This process is called "redlining" and involves clicking the users name and then the ignore button above the user list.

If the user persistantly evades your redlining, please contact a ChatMaster. If you believe the user is violating our chat rules or terms of service, you may contact us with the contact form; but this should only be a last resort. It is not the responsibility of any staff member to become involved in petty arguments.

It says I've been banned. How long does it last?

Most bans are temporary and can last from 1-24 hours. Others, depending on the severity of the violation may last longer, or may even be permanent.

Can I advertise my site in your chatrooms?

Absolutely not. Advertising is strictly prohibited by our Terms of Service and anyone caught advertising will be banned without warning.

Can I be a ChatMaster?

In most cases, no. Staff are chosen from the chatrooms when positions become available. The best way to become a ChatMaster is to behave responsibly in chat, participate regularly, and be helpful to new users. You can also apply here.

I have a great icon! Can I get it on the chat?

We welcome icon submissions! Just upload your icon to a photo hosting website like Tinypic and send us the link. Please note that not all icon submissions will be accepted, and they must comply with DigiChat size restrictions - 30px wide and 40px high. Any icons submitted will be for public use.
